She’s the Sports Illustrated supermodel with an impeccably toned figure envied by women the world over.
And Bar Refaeli showed it off to perfection in a near backless Marchesa gown last night, for The Whitney Museum of American Art’s 2011 Gala at Hudson River Park in Manhattan.
The daring dress languished dangerously low at the small of the 26-year-old Israeli-born model’s back.
A super fine sheath of fabric could barely be seen running up the back of the creation.
The front of Bar‘s frock was a mix of ruffled nude chiffon which gave a fan effect and shimmering thread which exposed some of her skin at the sides.
The stunning blonde went relatively low-key with her make-up, and pulled her hair back in a casual updo.
She accessorised with a matching clutch and wore no jewellery.
Also at the gala was actress Michelle Monaghan, who also wore Marchesa, looking a dream in an intricate cream and beaded confection.
She paired the look with metallic shoes and a clutch and wore her red-hair also up in a twist.
Heavy hitting movie producer Harvey Weinstein showed up on the arm of his stunning British fashion designer wife, who co-founded couture label Marchesa, one of the sponsors for the event.
The 35-year-old looked red-hot in a red strapless gown, no doubt one of her own creations.
Her business partner Keren Craig was also present in a strapless black mini dress paired with black stocking and stilettos.
Bar‘s appearance at the gala comes after she was booked up 24/7 at promotional events in Barcelona recently to launch the new Especially Escada fragrance, after being named the face of the scent back in January.
She wrote on her Twitter page excitedly: ‘At Port Aventura amusement park in Spain
I love fast rides! and ice cream.’
Bar accompanied her post with a picture of herself tucking into a huge ice cream, clearly a fan of the ‘everything in moderation’ diet.
Speaking about how she maintains her shape previously, Bar said: ‘I don’t diet and I don’t have an eating plan, but I like to eat healthily.
‘I don’t deny myself anything and there’s nothing I wouldn’t eat. I like desserts – I like food full-stop, but I exercise and I’m young, so everything keeps in check.’
